We're Gonna Need A Witter Boat!!
Having not posted an original drawing for a while, I thought I'd share with you a work in progress.
As a founder member of the Church of Wittertainment's Cartoonists Corner, I have drawn Mark & Simon many, many times. This latest piece, in it's rough form, sees Mark arguing the toss over the maestro's brilliant SHARK picture (with the great man himself) while Simon warns of Bruce's imminent arrival. A nod, and a debt of thanks, to the great Roger Kastel, poster artist extraordinaire, for the layout. Hope to have it done in a week or so.

NUFC: We Are United
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TX6YSvoHT18
This is a documentary created by my son Tom, with a little help from me, that details Newcastle United's run in to promotion from the championship last season.
I'm always acutely aware that Tom's devotion to NUFC is my fault. He was indoctrinated in the ways of the club, by me, at a very early age. He supported the BW even though, living in the South East of England, he was the only Toon fan in the entire school most of the time. That takes courage and dedication, sadly (having supported NUFC since 1972) my "courage & dedication" has undergone several collapses along the way. Tom is goodly enough to let me borrow his strength and belief when mine fails...and for that I thank him.
He poured every ounce of that spirit into this documentary. It is made with love and care...and is dedicated to every single Toon fan, wherever they may be, to acknowledge that, whilst supporting Newcastle can be a bleak, soul destroying slog most of the time, there are occasions when it lifts your spirit so very, very high that you wonder why you ever doubted them.
Hope you enjoy it.

Live Forever...
Fresh from my chat today with the awesome Dean Martin (the cockney not the crooner) I can announce that Broadstairs finest vinyl/fashion emporium, House of Martin, will be carrying my illustrations. A number of old ones will be available (see website) but the one above (shown in low res) is a new image. The image is available to buy, as art prints, at A5, A4, A3, A2 sizes. The website is in the process of being amended to include the images but please contact Deano at shop@houseofmartin.co.uk and register your interest.
The website address is: www.houseofmartin.co.uk and all the relevant info will be up soon.
Deano has asked me to work on a Beatles image next, I'll also be creating an "Only Fools & Horses" caricature too. Deano is a cracking guy and I'm looking forward to working with him.

Don't look back in anger...
Sorry for the lack of activity recently, moving home, kids off to University…that kind of thing. I have recently entered into an agreement with the excellent fashion/vinyl retailer House of Martin, in Broadstairs, that will see my illustrations (old and new) available to buy as prints from his website: www.houseofmartin.co.uk
The above image is a new one especially created for the launch next month. It will be available in BW and Colour, as a heavy stock art print. Can't wait to roll it out.
