AT LAST!! After many months of soul searching struggle, my "Auf Wiedersehen Pet" caricature is complete. Hope it meets with everyone's approval.

Not posted in ages so I thought I'd start with this.

"Auf Wiedersehen, Pet" was required viewing in our house. It's anarchic energy, sense of fun and risqué content was absolutely mind blowing to me. It's also a, completely authentic, drama about men under pressure. Displaced from their homes, and families, forced to find work wherever they could; a moving, beautifully told story which is as accurate today as it was then.

I have struggled capturing the likeness' over several attempts (too close to it maybe?) but, since the great Tim Healy followed me on Twitter, I have a new take on it. I'm finally happy with both the layout and likeness'. 

This is my pencil rough...next stage ink and colour...this is for you Tim.

Look out my window and what do I see?

 Here's the second image of my "Bowie Project", I intend to finish as many as I can before January 8th. They, along with a number of other pieces of my work, are available to buy (as prints etc) from Sharp Printing (of Broadstairs, Kent) should anyone be interested.

There's a Starman waiting in the sky...

 My latest piece is the first in a series of Bowie images I'm working on. I hope to have the full set completed in time for his birthday, January 8th.

My love for this man, and his work, has grown exponentially over the years and I've yet to properly express that through my work. Maybe I'll catch something of him through this project?

Here's hoping there's a crack in the sky and a hand reaching down for me...
